Van Helsing coming to Game Boy Advance
VU Games' vampire-hunter movie adaptation will stake its claim on May 7.
VU Games announced today it is readying a Game Boy Advance version of Van Helsing. The game will be based on the upcoming horror action film and will be similar to the Xbox and PlayStation 2 games of the same name.
Like the film, which stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale, Van Helsing will follow the titular vampire hunter on an extended undead-killing spree. According to VU Games, players will hunt a quality assortment of monsters--including Count Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Frankenstein Monster, and Mr. Hyde--across 10 spooky levels. Gamers will be provided with the tools of the fiend-slaying trade, including a grappling hook, pistols, tojo blades, a crossbow, and an electric gun.
The GBA Van Helsing has been rated T for Teen and will sell for a suggested retail price of $29.99. The game is set to ship May 7, the same day its film inspiration premieres.
