Critics did not enjoy Venom, but audiences liked it better, and that's proven yet again now that the movie has passed another massive box office milestone. The movie has now passed $800 million globally. It's made $211.7 million in the US and $610.8 million internationally for a total of $822.5 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

That makes it the fifth biggest movie of 2018, only trailing The Incredibles 2 ($1.2 billion), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ($1.3 billion), Black Panther ($1.34 billion), and Avengers: Infinity War ($2 billion).
