Viagame House Cup Coverage Center
Follow all the Hearthstone action that takes place in the capital of Sweden.

Welcome to the Viagame House Cup Coverage Center! Here you will find all the important information regarding the Hearthstone tournament including, but not limited to, playing schedule, participants, results, tournament format and prize distribution. The games begin on the 10th October and will run through the entire weekend. The participants will be gathered in the GD house in Stockholm, Sweden in a audience-free atmosphere.
The schedule will be updated live and daily.
General Information and Format
Attendants: 8 Invited players 8 qualification winners.
Prize Pool:
- 1st Place: $8000
- 2nd Place: $4000
- 3rd Place: $2000
- 4th Place: $1000
Format, groups and schedule:
Group play with four players in each group with a "GSL" style format in BO5. Top 2 from each group advance onto the playoff phase(the brackets will be drawn once Group D ends on Saturday, 11 October. Quarterfinals will be BO7, Semi-Final and the Grand Final will be BO9.
Every game starts with a Pick & Ban phase where each player can ban and pick decks for the upcoming match. This format was used for the showmatches and will be used for the main event.
Pick & Ban Order
(every individual round is blind and all actions happen simultaneously)
- Both players ban 1 deck from his opponent.
- Both players pick 2 decks from among their remaining decks.
- Both players ban 2 decks from his opponent.
- Both players pick 2 decks from among their remaining decks.
- Both players ban 1 deck from his opponent.
The remaining deck from each player is available to use. At the end of this pick/ban phase, each player will have a pool of 5 decks to use.
Game format
- The first match will be a complete blind pick where each player decides a deck that they play.
- The loser cannot play the same deck again. The Winner have the option to play their winning deck or choosing another deck.
- For match 2 and forward the winning player choose deck first and losing player picks after.
