Vivendi Universal to keep game brands
The French conglomerate reportedly removes certain entertainment properties, including its holdings in the game sector, from the selling block.
French media player Vivendi Universal, intent on selling most of its Vivendi Universal Entertainment holdings to General Electric, has reportedly decided to maintain ownership of at least the music and computer game components of that division.
Dow Jones is reporting that while the company continues its negotiations with GE, it has decided to maintain ownership of its holdings in the game sector, which include Blizzard Entertainment, Sierra Entertainment, and Black Label Games.
