Super Bowl 50 is just a few hours away. The biggest TV event of the year is expected to draw more than 100 million viewers, so it's no small surprise that companies are willing to pay this year's fee of $5 million for 30 seconds to promote their products. We're expecting a bunch of movie trailers and, if last year is any indication, some video game advertisements. In this post, we'll round them up as they debut during the big game.

On the movie side, Disney has confirmed it's running a Jungle Book commercial, and for gaming, a Pokemon ad will air during the third quarter. Keep checking back with GameSpot throughout the evening, as we'll add the movie and video game trailers here as they come online.

Super Bowl 50 begins tonight at 3:30 PM PST / 6:30 PM EST on GameSpot parent company network CBS. The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos go head to head at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

According to simulations from both Madden NFL 16 and Tecmo Bowl (yes, Tecmo Bowl), the Panthers will deny Peyton Manning and the Broncos to win the title.

I missed most of these awesome movie trailers because I live in Canada and our network overrides the CBS feed, robbing us of the awesome American Super Bowl commercials. The only one I saw was Captain America: Civil War, and that was because it aired before kickoff when CBS was still CBS.

The commercials we get aren't even special Super Bowl commercials -- it's so lame! And every commercial break had an ad for a f***ing pickup truck. I don't know why they assume we're f***ing rednecks. I don't give a shit about GD'd trucks! I want to see movie trailers!

At least I can count on youTube for all the movie trailers I missed.

@flames325: Yes, defensive games are really boring. This Super Bowl was just a grind.

I think the best playoff game this year was undoubtedly the Packers vs. Cardinals game. That would've been the most exciting Super Bowl in years.

@sweet_jcs: It was good, but it didn't have the thrilling ending of the Packers vs. Cardinals. I mean, another last-second hail mary pass caught in the endzone to tie the game!? Unbelievable! Then the weird non-flip coin toss. And Larry Fitzgerald practically winning the game single-handedly. I was rooting for the Packers, but the Cardinals deserved to win that game.

Whereas Pats vs Broncos was another defensive grind. Manning wasn't impressive at all -- most of the Broncos' points (especially the early points) were field goals. It was the Broncos defense that shut down Brady and won that game. They were so effective that the Pats couldn't even try a last minute comeback, so the ending wasn't very exciting.

I always prefer games that are exciting and competitive. Blowouts or defensive grinds don't interest me. I prefer a nail-biter, especially when my team comes from behind and wins!

real men play full contact sports without having to wear body armour and head protection, unlike the super bowl, you need to break several bones befor you are even considered injured in rugby. dislocated somthing? pop it back in place with a bandage and get out there again. unless you have nerve damage or take 20 stone of muscle to the neck, is when somthing gets serious.

@xenomorphalien: I totally understand why you feel that way because Clash of The Titans (which had no Titans in it even though it was about Greek Gods) was pretty damn bad and it's predecessor Wrath of the Titans wasn't very eyebrow raising either. And finally, The Immortals was just fucking terrible.

@demon-returns: It looks like it'll be bad the same way Jupiter Ascending was bad. All the money on special effects can't save a movie with a fundamentally poor story.

I could be wrong, but from the trailers, it looks like a movie I would regret paying to see.
