Watch an Epic 9-Minute Madden 16 Fumble Glitch

In football, fumbles happen. It's no fun to cough up the ball, but it's just a part of the game--in real life and Madden NFL 16. What's not supposed to happen, however, is for fumbles to last nine minutes.

But that's exactly what we see in this funny video glitch video posted on YouTube. What starts as a simple Carson Palmer interception turns into complete and total chaos.

The glitch here looks like a pretty simple one. Every time a player picks up the ball, he immediately drops it. Add in the game's physics and collision system (and some great silent movie music), and things quickly take a turn to the hilarious. The glitch finally resolves itself when the ball is forced out of the end zone.

Madden 16 is earning strong critical review scores, including an 8/10 from GameSpot. But like most sports games, it's also not been without its glitches. To some, these bugs are part of the appeal.
