Watch Colin Cowherd Debate Video Games With NBA Player
Utah Jazz's Gordon Hayward goes head-to-head with Cowherd on his radio show today.
Radio personality Colin Cowherd is not done ranting about video games just yet. During his Fox Sports Radio show today, the former ESPN host spoke with Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward, who defended the competitive gaming scene. The NBA player also shared an embarrassing picture of Cowherd as part of his "people in glass houses..." argument. Check out the video and image below.
Hayward, a big-time League of Legends fan and player himself, picks apart Cowherd's gamer stereotypes in the video. Recently, Cowherd caught flak from the gamer community by calling professional gamers lonely men who live with their parents, eat Hot Pockets, and love Star Wars. Hayward--and co-host Kristine Leahy-- argue against this.
Cowherd's latest gaming segment comes at the start of the League of Legends World Championships.
Back in April, Cowherd said he'd quit ESPN if he was ever asked to cover competitive gaming, something that ESPN apparently wants to do more of in the future. In July, ESPN parted ways with Cowherd, who got his new start at Fox Sports just a month later.
