Watch Dead Rising 4's Leaked Gameplay Video, See Frank West Take Selfies, Mow Down Zombies
Frank West, back at it again.
Gameplay of Dead Rising 4 has appeared online by way of a leaked footage published by Polygon. According to the site, the gameplay was sent by an anonymous source and was captured of a Windows PC. It represents an "early build of the game."
The video shows Frank West, the star of the first Dead Rising, who is returning to the newest entry, taking pictures. This confirms that the photography gameplay mechanic from the first game will make its return, in some fashion. On top of that, you can also take selfies now.
We also get to see Frank walking around Willamette Mall, which also returns from the first game as Dead Rising 4's setting. More specifically, it looks like he's in some sort of prison or lab which the zombies have overrun. There's a few scenes of shooting, with Frank using an assault rifle, and a modified vehicle that looks to be a lawnmower equipped with a flamethrower.
Dead Rising 4's release date has been confirmed as December 6. It will launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, but Microsoft has confirmed to GameSpot that it is a timed-exclusive and could eventually make its way to PS4 and Steam.
