Watch Dogs coming to Wii U?
Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy listings suggest Ubisoft's upcoming action game in development for Nintendo's newest platform.
Watch Dogs may be on the way for Wii U. Listings on Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy suggest Ubisoft's 2013-dated action game is in development for Wii U, in addition to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
An Ubisoft representative was not immediately available to comment.
Last week, leaked marketing material for Watch Dogs suggested the game would ship this holiday season for "all home consoles."
Ubisoft has yet to announce a list of platforms or a concrete release date for Watch Dogs. Next-generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony are believed to be on store shelves for this holiday season. Sony may even announce the PlayStation 4 tomorrow.
Watch Dogs was announced during Ubisoft's 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo media briefing last June with no official word on platforms or a release date. It is an all-new intellectual property in development at Ubisoft Montreal that focuses on hacking.
