The first clip from PewDiePie's new YouTube show Scare PewDiePie has been released, offering a brief glimpse at what the horror-themed program will look like. As announced previously, Scare PewDiePie will see PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, thrust into real-life situations inspired by horror games.

In this teaser clip, we see PewDiePie trapped in a metal box while a man approaches with a scythe. The floor then drops out and some kind of slime surrounds him. There's a lot of screaming and swearing, which should be no surprise if you've seen any of his previous videos.

PewDiePie claims he is not told what is going to happen during Scare PewDiePie, which is described as "part prank show, part suspense adventure."

"The show promises a completely authentic experience as Felix goes into every episode without knowing what he's in for," YouTube said in a statement.

Scare PewDiePie is produced by The Walking Dead company Skybound Entertainment and Disney's Maker Studios. The show will air in 2016 as premium content available for YouTube Red subscribers. You can check out some behind-the-scenes images from the show in the image gallery above.

With more than 40 million subscribers, PewDiePie is far and away YouTube's biggest name. He was a guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in October and made around $7.5 million in 2014.
