I play videogames to be entertained, to be whisked away into interesting worlds, not to be marred by overly political or racial themes. All I have to do is read the news for that. Unfortunately, the music, the seriousness, the protagonist elements from this trailer are already turning me off to this game.

Calm down everyone, this is just a teaser for E3. The game looks interesting. I like the slight change in direction for the series. Mafia II was enjoyable, if feeling uninspired. This seems to aim for something more unique. I am sure it will be fun to play.

It's difficult for an open-world or sandbox game to handle serious themes and subject matter. The inherent bugginess and a the freedom they give you are conducive to over-the-top fun and laughable moments. The trailer made this game look drab; let's see how they handle it.

It better not suck like the second one which was the pseudo open world, most of the time you're confined in a small area doing missions and whatnot.

I'm a bit less excited for Mafia III now that Watch Dogs 2 is coming this year. Watch Dogs 2 seems like the better game.

To me this doesn't even look like a mafia game..........

I got pretty much nothing out of that trailer.
