Watch New Ratchet & Clank Movie Spot

A new spot for the upcoming Ratchet & Clank movie has been released, showcasing the film's action sequences and teasing out some of the story. Check it out:

Ratchet & Clank is based on the original Ratchet & Clank game, telling an origin story for the two main characters, Ratchet and Clank. They are voiced by James Arnold Taylor and David Kaye, respectively, the two actors who also lend their pipes to the characters in the game franchise.

Other actors who are voicing characters in Ratchet & Clank include John Goodman, Rosario Dawson, Bella Thorne, Sylvester Stallone, and Paul Giamatti.

Ratchet & Clank comes to theaters on April 29. Debuting before that on April 12 is a new Ratchet & Clank game for PS4, which recently went gold. Though it's based on elements of the first game, it is described as a "whole new game." It is also based on the upcoming animated film, which is also based on the original game, Insomniac explained on Twitter.
