Atlus has unveiled new footage of the opening cinematic for its role-playing game Persona 5, intercut with video from singer Lyn performing the game's main theme song. The trailer was shown during a Persona 5 presentation which was streamed live from Tokyo Game Show today.
Perhaps most notably, the footage debuts a new character joining the previously confirmed cast, a blue-haired painter who appears to be a student. Atlus also announced that Persona 5 will be getting an animated series, although details were scarce. This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Persona 4 was also made into an animated show totaling 26 episodes, and Persona 3 is being made into a series of animated films.
Persona 5 is being developed for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game was originally scheduled for release this year, but has since been delayed to Summer 2016.
