Watch Resident Evil Movie Star Explain the Crazy Story So Far

Ahead of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter's release next week, Sony Pictures has published a new video in which series star Milla Jovovich recaps the events of the first five movies.

As you'll see, a lot of crazy stuff has happened since the first Resident Evil in 2002, most of it involving the zombie apocalypse and all that good stuff. Check out the "Rewind" video below.

The Final Chapter comes to theaters on January 27, which is just three days after Resident Evil 7 lands on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The movie is the sixth and potentially last one from director Paul W.S. Anderson, who is married to Jovovich. The Final Chapter also stars Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black), Ali Larter (Final Destination), and Iain Glen (Game of Thrones).
