Watch Spectacular New X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer

Long before Marvel and DC had established their ongoing cinematic universes, the X-Men films were blazing a trail for the modern superhero movie. X-Men: Apocalypse is the sixth movie in the mutant superhero franchise and hits cinemas in May. A spectacular new trailer has now been released--check it out below:

X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Bryan Singer, who made the first two movies in the series and returned for 2014's Days of Future Past, which has become the most successful film in the series to date.

It is due for release on May 27, 2016, and stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, and Rose Byrne.
