Capcom has released a new update for Street Fighter 5 and, among other things, it introduces new environmental knockouts.

Previously, the Bustling Side Street stage set in China allowed players to knock each other into a bus or into a noodle restaurant. However, it was the only stage to include this kind of cinematic moment. The latest update now allows players to deal a humiliating final blow on a number of other stages.

Now Playing: GS News Update: Street Fighter 5's Silly New Environmental Knockouts

The new environmental knockouts have been captured by YouTube user Charles Lupula and you can watch them below. There's some really goofy ones in there, including being fired out of a canon, flung off the stage by elephants, and having a sad snowman fall on you.

"If you loved blasting other players through doors and dropping bowls of noodles on their heads, just wait until you see what we have in store with this update," Capcom previously teased.

Here's all the stages that have new environmental knockouts:

  • Shadaloo Base
  • Hillside Plaza
  • Underground Arena
  • Forgotten Waterfall
  • Union Station
  • Kanzuki Estate
  • City in Chaos
  • Apprentice Alley
  • Lair of the Four Kings

The update also introduces new character Urien, who can be purchased using the in-game currency, Fight Money, or with real money. If you own the season pass, you can start playing with Urien right away. For more on Urien check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

Also included in the update is daily targets, which players can complete to earn Fight Money. Naturally, these targets will only be available for a limited period of time.
