2K Games has just infused the Web with a sense of "Woo Style," as they call the run-and-gun action of Serious Sam II, with the launch of the official Web site for the upcoming shooter.

Visitors can find a wide array information on the game's weapons and vehicles, such as a giant spiked ball that uses a "hamster effect power supply" and a velociraptor. A selection of the game's 40-plus wacky enemies is also displayed, including players from the Interplanetary Football League and a cigar-smoking T-rex head mounted on a mech body.

Serious Sam II is the full-fledged sequel to 2001's PC action game, and it's in development at Croatian studio Croteam. The game will ship for the PC and Xbox on October 10. For more on Serious Sam II, check out GameSpot's recent hands-on impressions.
