What's New On Netflix In July 2021? I Think You Should Leave, Dynasty Warriors, And More
Here's everything coming to the streaming service in July.
There is plenty to look forward to in July 2021 on Netflix. There are returning shows, new original series and movies, and some familiar IPs you can see in a whole new light. Here is everything coming to Netflix this month along with some recommendations.
If you love the intense action of the Dynasty Warriors series and yelling "Screw you, Lu Bu" at your TV, then you're in luck. On July 1, Netflix is releasing a live-action Dynasty Warriors series, based on the gaming series from Koei Tecmo. The trailer from early June contains everything you love about the gaming series: battles against thousands of unworthy minions, epic fights between legendary characters, super-powered moves, and some real rad music. Check out the trailer below.
On July 21, Netflix has a new reality dating show with a twist. In Sexy Beasts, singles will go on a series of dates; however, they will be in full prosthetic makeup to look like animals, hiding their appearance. Is this really weird? Yep. Is it something you might want to check out? Of course, as Netflix has had a string of reality shows with interesting hooks that have done well in the past like The Circle and Too Hot To Handle.
Speaking of anthropomorphic animals, Season 2 of Beastars arrives on July 15. Based on the manga series of the same name, the show follows humanized animals at Cherryton Academy where a gentle wolf deals with his predatory urges. Additionally, there's a murder at the school as well.
Finally, on July 6, Netflix's best sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson returns with Season 2. The first season of the show was a cult hit with people falling in love with Baby of the Year Candidate/resident bad boy Bart Harley Jarvis or wondering why Paul doesn't have any good card ideas. You can see what Robinson has up his sleeve for Season 2 very soon and check out the first trailer and announcement video as well.
Below, you'll find everything coming to Netflix for the month of July.
