What's New To Shudder In December 2019: Horror Movies, TV Shows, And Exclusives
Garbage day!
Sure, December may be the month of sharing, giving, and spending time with your family, but whose to say you can't watch a bunch of great horror movies as well? While streaming services like Netflix and Hulu deliver a wide-array of content, only Shudder specializes in horror. So check out the list below of movies and exclusives headed to Shudder for the month of December.
While Santa is coming down your chimney, you could be watching the classic horror movie Silent Night, Deadly Night 2, which arrives on December 2. The bizarre film follows Ricky, who goes on a killing spree after remembering the trauma of his parents being killed on Christmas Eve. There is no need to watch the first movie in the series though, as Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 uses around 25 minutes of footage from the original movie. That's right, 28% of this movie is footage from another movie. SN,DN2 also has one of the most infamous moments in horror cinema, when Ricky shoots a man taking out the trash and yells, "Garbage day!"
Another holiday horror movie to watch on Shudder is Deadly Games, which also arrives on December 2. It's Home Alone, a year before Home Alone came out. A young boy is left at home on Christmas Eve with his grandfather, and a killer dressed as Santa breaks in, so the young boy sets up traps and tries to take down this psychopath, even though the child thinks he's actually Santa. Put this movie on Christmas morning instead of It's A Wonderful Life.
Throughout the rest of the month, there are other great movies headed to Shudder as well. Check out the full list below.
