As you cruise through Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, you might find that butterflies are everywhere, while other flying bugs are a bit more elusive. If you're wondering where to find dragonflies, below are three locations--the bug isn't exclusive to just these, but they're helpful locations where the spawn is secured.

How to Bring a Golden Dragonfly in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

If you're in need of more crewmates for the Goromaru, there's an easy way to add somebody to the roster. Over at Sunset Park, you'll come across Bug Professor Louis, who will ask you to bring a golden butterfly for him. His location is northeast of Sunset St. and northwest of Anaconda Blvd.

You can either look for the dragonfly before or after meeting him. The trick here is that you'll first need access to the grappling hook in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. For this, you'll just have to progress through the main story, and Julie will eventually give you the tool.

Now, all you need to do is aim with the hook (using the left shoulder button of your controller by default, or whichever is the equivalent on your platform). When you do this, if there are bugs around, you'll be able to lock the aim and capture them.

It might take a minute to find a golden dragonfly, so be patient.

There's no clear color indication to differentiate regular dragonflies from the silver and golden variants, but the latter does tend to move far more erratically than the common ones. It's a matter of patience, as it's purely RNG-based, but you're bound to get it eventually if you just keep on catching dragonflies.

Once you're done, give Bug Professor Louis the golden dragonfly, and you'll be set. By default, he has 1265 HP, rank E proficiency in Cannon Power and Ship Upkeep, and F rank in Attack and Defense. He has no first mate or squad leader traits, but hey, everybody is welcome.
