Why PS4 Uncharted Collection Doesn't Include Golden Abyss

I think the real reason is because they want the Vita to ACTUALLY have games and not re release them.

Part of me really wants it on the PS4 because I want to play on the bigger screen with a proper controller in my hand. I can understand why they didn't add it in but I'm still going to play it again on the Vita anyway after I'm done with Nathan Drake Collection. It probably wouldn't have been as good on PS4 as I enjoyed the Vita features like holding up at the light, etc. Maybe even using the PS4 touch pad wouldn't have been the same as when we touch the vita screen for the charcoal rubbing too.

This is fine with me. Golden Abyss was ok. Not the same quality as the PS3 games.

to be COMPLETELY HONEST with you FABULOUS PEOPLE and i really do mean that, i would have had loved to see Uncharted: The Golden Abyss in the packages because every Uncharted game was just AMAZINGLYENTERTAININGtowards me. i don't know about the rest of you guys. i am speaking for myself and not anyone else because i REALLY DOrespect other people's opinions, their views, and their comments.

1st please remove the damn forza six advert banner on tablet its geting in the way, no amount of xbox adverts shoved in my face will make me consider buying one

Until I read this, I thought Vita was a brand of bread.

Golden Abyss was a very good handheld title. But I think it would have been hard to port because it used the touch screen and even the camera as a light detector.

Hopefully DLC at some point.

The only thing I did not like about Golden Abyss was the lack of weird shit at the end. They had that point where he was face to face with a radioactive skelington and they did nothing with it.

Really could not fit in collection since ps4 only can handle 3 PS3 games no way could do that . Naughty dog ask dans want the full remasters jak and Dexter 1 to 3 jak final frontier and jak x please.

I played all 3 of the original games and still have them on the PS3 but Golden Abyss I have never played despite owning it through PS+ I just don't own a Vita.

Would have been a good idea to add it, lots of UC fans that weren't interested in shelling out for a Vita. And I highly doubt Sony is sitting around waiting for the Vita to turn it around, so why not just include it.

Uncharted Golden Abyss should have made it into the collection. That was the only mistake

Lol, using the excuse that it's "slightly outside of the story arc". No, it's because they couldn't be bothered. Don't care what corporate bull they spin, it's just laziness at the end of the day.

That said, I enjoyed Golden Abyss, but it's not essential. The collection will still be great with or without it.

The excuse is kind of lame to me but whatever. I played all three so the collection is getting a pass. I would be more understanding if they said they could barely fit all that data on a bluray disc. That is a lot of data.

Here's hoping the collection comes with a download code for Golden Abyss. That might still require them to remake it for PS4 though.

Well they'll eventually port all of em to ps4. I am certain of that.

There is also the issue of the Vita game being designed to show off the Vita hardware in ways which that didn't easily translate to the console. It might have been a nice gesture if registering the Uncharted Collection to your PSN account gave you a redemption code that could be used with your Vita. This would cost Sony little and might have sold a few Vitas.

So it's laziness given not only have other companies done such installments, Sony already has done this with their various other games they made themselves.... Go ahead and reply to this comment if it makes you butthurt because just like all the other posts I know will butthurt people, I wont be reading the replies :P

So people are losing their shit because some off story portable game didn't get remastered? Seriously? Master Chief Collection didn't include ODST or Reach, people were still thrilled with it. Gears of War didn't include Parts 2 or 3 yet it's still ok. So big deal.. no 4th remaster in this bundle. Seems the only people bitching about it are xbox zealots anyways which is typical.

Uncharted doesn't have any arc, is just random treasure quest just like Indiana Jones. And that it what makes them great. They could be releasing two title very gen and that would be perfect.
