And another falls to the mighty EA Juggernaut. The news of the NCAA signing an exclusive deal with EA Sports to make them the only producers of collegiate football games on consoles and handheld devices is hardly a shock, especially since EA's been the only one makin college football games for a while now. Still, you can't help but feel a little a knot in your gut over this one, especially if you're a fan of the 2K games. The NCAA might have been one of their last, best hopes for a licensed football product, should they continue to make football games, and now those dreams are dashed. At the very least, EA's NCAA Football games haven't been too shabby in recent years, and last year's game was actually a pretty big step up in quality for the franchise overall.

What are your thoughts on this latest development? Is this a score for fans of college football, or another nail in the coffin for the once competitive sports game industry?
