Witcher 3 Box Art Leaked

To those who haven't played but want to get into The Witchers. Here's what you need to know.

- It's not harder than Dark Souls, but just like it, it isn't a button masher. If you play it on the highest difficulty you'll have to be meticulous. You have to use potion, and oils to coat your sword with. You have to learn about the creatures you are fighting by either finding books or talking to people who know about the monster, so you can learn what they are vulnerable to. If you go into a fight not knowing, you will most likely get fucked.

It would be like fighting a vampire without knowing the whole wood stake in the heart thing, you're going to have a hard time. So it's more about knowledge than it is about "difficulty". You have to be smart about how you approach things.

- If you're going to play this. Play The Witcher 1 and 2. Even if there is a summary of what happen in the previous games. You need to get accustomed to the characters and know them. Bond with them, because this game will ask you to make very hard decisions, decisions that aren't black or white. It's not just about clicking on the "good guy" dialogue or the "bad guy" dialogue. The choices are morally ambiguous. If you're not attached to the character you won't enjoy it as much. Also if you skip through the dialogues, don't bother playing it.

Now that I know the date its coming out, now I can start saving to buy a PS4 when this game comes out.

"Leaked" means that it was released to the public before the distributor wanted it to be. "Announced" or "revealed" would have been more accurate terms.

I've heard this series is insanely difficult, even harder than Dark Souls. I'm a filthy casual, will I like this game series?

The box art is cheesy as hell. This game will likely be amazing, and it deserves a better looking cover...oh well. Looking forward to it regardless

Not gonna lie. I'm excited for the game, but i'm not a fan of these box arts where yuo simply put the main character in frontal view.

I really would have prefered the title like it is, with the CD Projekt Red side faced worlf and black background instead of white.

But whatever, the game's going to be probably be awesome. Give it me!

So the gog.com edition has DLC with it? normally I would complain but these guys I don't mind them getting more money from me.

Without even playing the game yet, I don't think this box art does it justice.

pretty much every aspect of these games is at least ok or good, and it has many others that are great naturally, no other RPG has that today, they are always focused in the story, or in the combat, or in the size of the world, etc, but make many sacrifices.

Its a franchise of narrative driven RPGs with a very strong and unique lore

This Industry needs to wear adult diapers for all the "leaking" its doing.

But jokes aside, Im looking forward to Witcher 3!

Nice box art, but I'll get my copy from GoG since I have both of the other games there. I got the first one from retail in 2007 and the second from a recent Steam sale. GoG is nice enough to give you a free backup copy if you can prove that you own a copy already.

Only issue is I can't remember what happened at the end of 2 and just started the first, so much lore to catch up on lol.
