Witcher 3 for Xbox 360 or PS3 would be impossible, dev says

Anyway the reason why the X360 can be more powerful is because the GPU is more powerful, however when specializing the PS3, the CPU can be coded to do some GPU work as well. So when doing a PS3 exclusive, you can dedicate time to code for the Cell Processor to do some graphics. However multiplatform games dont, hence the workload is only on the GPU, and the 360 just has a better GPU. So basically the PS3 can look better if you dedicate time for it, but on multiplatforms where they dont, the 360 is better.

He's a tool. The shitbox gets fucked in front of PS 3 exclusives. They're untouchable in all aspects. PS 3 ftw.

<< LINK REMOVED >> It was supposed to but only a couple of developers were ever able to put it to use. In most cases the 360 versions of games were superior. I have both systems so no fanboy either way here. I just know from my own experience that 9 out of 10 times the games looked better on the 360. The PS3 was just really hard for developers to work with because of the unusual system architecture. Thankfully that changed with the PS4 and now Sony really does have the more powerful system.

I only had one GTX 680 and the game had everything automatically set to ultra except for that crazy new ubersampling. To me it looked good enough on high settings @ 1080p. I don't think even SLI computers were able to do ubersampling at higher than 30 to 40 FPS.

@Rushaoz Yea it's all about PC flexibility. You can play on super high graphic settings even if your PC is old if you can live with the low FPS, or you can upgrade if you wish to play on ultra with high FPS, or you can lower graphics to play on older machines with good FPS, and many times even very old PC's will run games on low settings with a low FPS (when I say low FPs I mean like 25-30 which is what the last gen consoles recent games seem to be at), which some people can still accept. Then you've got mods that allow you to create, or use the creations of other people, some of which can entirely change a games experience, or create a new game altogether.

You've also got a choice of control input for most games, it's easier to setup multiple screens of different sizes and position, depending what you plan to use your PC for... I could go on but yea, graphics is really just the icing on the cake of infinite options, and the graphics alone give you a large array of options for system of all strengths.
