WWE Wrestlemania 34: Seth Rollins Channels Game Of Thrones For Epic Entrance
Winter is here.
While Wrestlemania 34 was filled with memorable moments, WWE's biggest annual show actually started with one of the best for anyone that's a Game of Thrones enthusiast. As Seth Rollins made his way to the ring for the triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship--a bout he won--something looked different.
Rollins' eyes were a piercing and unnatural blue color that stood out and looked very familiar to fans of Game of Thrones. With blue contacts and new ring gear made for the event, Rollins was paying tribute to the Night King--the master of the White Walkers on the HBO series. Appropriately, commentator Corey Graves declared "Winter is here" upon the wrestler's arrival. Take a look at a comparison of Rollins and the Night King below.
Though Rollins ditched the contacts and vest he was wearing in time for the match, his entrance left an impact that had fans immediately talking on social media. Some even noted this is the second time in as many years that the new Intercontinental Champion has used WWE's biggest stage to cosplay as a Game of Thrones character.
Last year @WWERollins was the King Slayer, this year he comes to the ring as an apparent white walker. @GameOfThrones spoiler alert, The Night King is Seth Rollins and next Wrestle Mania it will be Jon Snow vs Seth Rollins in Winner Gets the Realm Match pic.twitter.com/yrmIv991WW

His wasn't the only intriguing entrance attire during Wrestlemania weekend, though. One night earlier, at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, Johnny Gargano went to war with Tommaso Ciampa wearing armor that looks like it was ripped right out of Thor: Ragnarok.
Dari #NXTTakeOver tadi pagi, Johnny Gargano make armor Thor di Ragnarok untuk ngelawan archnemesisnya, Tommaso Ciampa.

If only makes sense that the biggest movies and TV shows would get some of the spotlight during the biggest wrestling event of the year. After all, wrestlers are nerds too.
