WWF 2000 Sells a Million
THQ's WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for the Nintendo 64 has exceeded the one-million-sales mark.
THQ announced on Thursday that WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for the Nintendo 64 has sold more than one million units. The company also stated that new shipments of the game would be arriving in stores this week to alleviate the high demand for the title.
"Back in late November, we were pleased to announce a very positive initial consumer response to WWF WrestleMania 2000," said Alison Locke, senior vice president of sales and marketing for THQ. "Less than two months later, we have already exceeded the one million unit mark worldwide and are meeting very strong demand at retail as a second shipment of product hits stores nationwide this week."
THQ also stated that the Game Boy Color version of the game is enjoying great success.
