Xbox 360, PC in for Bloody Good Time

@Organbank if you had actually played this instead of making an ignorant comment based on one pic and its perspective which just happens to be first person you wouldn't be saying that the fact is there's no other games that plays quite like this except for the ship. I'm enjoying this game alot more so far. Awesome game that's a refreshing break from the usual fps fare providing a unique gameplay experience and for only $5 everyone should go buy it!

Brilliant! The Ship is still so fantastic, if only more people would play.

@spank_thru101 Sacrilege against TF2! Though the Ship is an interesting play, maybe, a couple of times.

Kinda bummed...The Ship was neat, though slow at times, but this appears really really redundant. Then again so is TF2, but people love that for its old school quality and straight ahead gameplay.

Wow I hadn't even heard of The Ship but that sounds like a really great idea. Interested in this next release... will have to keep it on the radar

The Ship was good, if a bit slow moving at times. I think Outerlight could do well from this.

Sorry, I meant I bought the game two years later. Still, I can't understand how the game emptied out like that. There is a fanbase, there just aren't any servers.

I had some of the most amazing multiplayer experiences playing The Ship during it's free trial way back when. When I finally bought the game two days later, it was completely unplayable because there wasn't a populated server to be found. I'm glad the developers are doing another game, but I wish they'd do something to revitalize The Ship's community too.

@organbank Can't any genre be oversimplified that way? I got tired of rpg's a long time ago. Just select this item on a menu and it fights for you *yawn* I got tired of rts games a long time ago, just send some units to fight a battle that isn't even fun to watch *yawn* and so on...

Am I missing something? This sounds like a really cheesy version of Unreal Tournament. What made "The Ship" game so good was the stealth involved. If you took that away, it was just a bad FPS. Why would you take that away?

@bloodtears Don't know, I got bored of all FPS games back in 2003. Point and shoot YAWN...ave played one you have played them all in terms of game play mechanics.

@mightEone I believe the emphasis is on the SHOOTER in FPS. You do know that FPS stands for first person SHOOTER right? So, yer wow another FPS how innovative.

Someone put down this game because its a FPS. I hate to burst many of your bubbles but there is only so many things a game can do. It's either FPS, Over the shoulder or 3rd person. Take your pic. If you want something more realistic I recommend playing paintball or BB gun war with your friends. I would say buy real guns but that wouldn't be good for your health

@organbank I know right! If games like bioshock have proven anything it is that nothing new can be done in that genre.

@ Flint247 I can't speak for anyone else but as far as I'm concerned when you talk about films, games whatever and that discussion enters into violence and guns, like you are going to make a game with guns about violence and all that there has to be some sort of blood involved. To shoot someone and not have blood is unrealistic. I agree with the Paul Verhoeven philosophy, why have a gun in a scene that doesn't show what that gun does?

The Ship was one of the most original, and well through out games I ever played... was really shocked to see how poorly it took hold. Guess people weren't ready for a slower moving, non-run and gun FPS. Hopefully this game is just as original as The Ship was, but picks up a bigger following.@aaronfhff123 - Its not made by Valve, but a small company called Outerlight... in fact its not even published by Valve. If you ever played The Ship, you would realize that the game most certainly does not need an M rateing.

Hmmm, I gotta keep my eye on this one. May be quite a good alternative to TF2.
