Xbox 360/PS3 Getting Assassin's Creed "Americas" Collection Next Month

Bundle includes Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed IV, and Assassin's Creed III Liberation HD.

Ubisoft today announced a new Assassin's Creed bundle for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 called the "Assassin's Creed The Americas Collection." Launching October 28, the bundle includes copies of Assassin's Creed III (2012), Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (2013), and Assassin's Creed III Liberation HD (2014).

The common thread that runs through these games is that they are all set in the Americas, hence the name of the bundle. In the UK, the bundle will be referred to as Assassin's Creed Birth of a New World - The American Saga.

No price was mentioned in the announcement today. It is also unclear if the game is coming to PC. We will update this story with more details should they become available later on.

If you're in the market for a new Assassin's Creed game this fall, you can pick up Assassin's Creed Rogue (Xbox 360 and PS3) or Assassin's Creed Unity (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC), both of which launch on November 11.

I still haven't picked up Black flag, but I'd prefer getting that on Xbox One. It's really the only worthwhile 'americas' AC game.

I don't get why so many of you guys would buy this. Any AC fan already owns these games, or at the very least played them. Not to mention that the only good game in the collection is AC 4.

I didn't get a 360 until 2011. With so many games to play, I haven't played an AC game. Bundle them all together and people like me will pick them up later. Oh, and make it a digital bundle.

Such a big waste when they could be having a collection of the Ezio Trilogy (being Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, & Revelations, along with the Assassin's Creed Embers movie) on PS4 & Xbox One.

I would've been fine with that, as they're much better than AC I & III IMO.

@ryangcnx-2 I know, but I was talking about porting the collection on PS4 & Xbox One. The Ezio Trilogy first came out on September 6th of 2012.

Butts. I just bought Assassin's Creed 3 alone, this is so much more complete American experience. This is the only thing from Assassin's creed that has really interested me, not gonna lie. Pirates actually sound pretty cool too though, but that's like a concept, not a place in time I don't think, or did they go with actual historical Pirates? That would make a lot more sense, the games all taking place at certain times in history. AMERICA!!!!

I wanted to finish assassin's creed. I really did. I could not get past 2 hours of the original. I know that future games in the series are improved, but I just couldn't do it. I got ACIV Black Flag free with my GTX770SC and I played 2 minutes. I guess it's just not my cup of tea. And I don't know why people are calling PS3/X360 deadweight. I still have TONS of games I have yet to play on either system. Dead weight because it's not the next big thing? And PS4 Xbox one and Wii U could be considered ancient themselves in terms of tech. Play what you like, just because a game has better graphics doesn't make it a better game. Hell next gen is so stripped down so they can reach the 1080p 60fps mark that they leave out modes etc. Stop being sheep EasyComeEasyGo and peeps like you.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Because Rogue will fetch $60 on it's own. They are trying to boost the revenue generated from titles that have pretty much sold their course. You can probably buy AC3 and AC4 cheaper than the combined titles, depending on whether they set it at $40 or $60. Putting liberation in the package appeals to people without internet connects to buy the DLC and you may get them to purchase an additional copy of titles they already own.

The whole point of this collection is to increase interest in the new game, the same way Halo Master Chief Collection will for the new Halo game. No one is complaining "well why isn't the new game included in this collection? It also has Master Chief".

I don't care about machines I love games and will play them on whatever piece of metal they come in and yes I have a high end PC but I can't play TLOU or any of the other amazing console exclusives on it.

Wii U I didn't bother with because it was last gen at the END of last gen and none of the games on it do anything for me. I lost interest in Mario, Zelda etc about 10 years ago or whenever the N64 finally died.

Lots of cheap quality games are available and they are still fun to play. 90% of the releases on the new generation are being made available on the last generation of consoles (because they were designed for the last generation). It'll still be a year or two before the XB1 or PS4 are worth purchasing and have games that actually utilize their capabilities.
