Xbox E3 2017 Press Conference Runs Longer Than Usual

@northArrow: You think they should just gloss over and rush through the fact they're unveiling a new console they hyped a year ago? Nobody has ever seen any gameplay footage running on Scorpio...they kinda need to show that you know? Also...comparisons between Scorpio and regular X1. Why wouldn't they show footage of every game, running on Scorpio? If they do, most of their conference will actually be Scorpio footage.

@Keaze_: They teased it last year. They allowed Digital Foundry to do one major set of articles a few weeks ago. They've properly maintained some hype and mystery about it, for E3. At E3 they will show what remains to be known. You act like they're the first company to long term hype a console. The internet and gaming world has been abuzz for a year speculating price, performance, and name. They've gotten a lot of publicity from withholding information, seems like a smart move to me. By your logic they should've shown everything last year, then have nothing about it show for a year and a half leading up till release. What a terrible launch strategy that would've been. Sony's the one who didn't and have never even really marketed their Pro.

And...there are plenty of Xbox games. And I care about the power regardless of new exclusives. Every multiplat I play on Xbox will be better than it is on PS4.

@alaskancrab: Scorpio's GPU is superior., CPU/GPU architectural design is much more refined, with higher speed system bandwidth to reduce bottlenecking. GPU cooling solution is also better and unprecedented in a console. Also 4k blu ray player.

And until you actually know the price, your comment is completely without substance. Your trying to attacking MS's justification for its price, but if it launches at 399 same as Pro, that is a great price for a better machine. If it launches at 449 that's still justified and a fair price. Nobody without a Sony agenda thinks it will be more than 499.

Pro has 36 Compute Units (CU) and each of these run at 914MHz. Scorpio has 40 CU and each run at 1172MHz, which is significantly faster per CU. Since you are downplaying Scorpio's upper hand, let me calculate this for you.

4 CU on Scorpio total to a roughly 4688 MHz. It would take Pro roughly 5.25 CUs to match that. Multiply this by 10 and you get 40 Scorpio CUs and 52.5 PS4pro CUs

It would take roughly 16.5 CUs (52.5 - 36 current ps4pro) that PS4Pro need to compete with Scorpio. It is bloody nearly 50% more efficient than the next top console currently on the market!

I don't care if you side with pro because you have Sony's stocks or something, but don't make pro sound nearly as good as Scorpio when in reality they are not!!

@sdecker425: Keyboard and mouse support coming to X1 and Scorpio has already been confirmed. Some of the other stuff you say is stuff we already know has not.

Xbox 10 S is not confirmed and makes no sense. The rumored X1X or....XBOneX...seems more likely. And they wouldn't release on Halloween, that's a bad launch day.

@sdecker425: From the numerous rumors; ninja gaiden and fable being turned in to an MMO seems to be the most consistent ones.

I'm not surprised with fable - if you can't get a highly rated MMO like FFXIV then make your own. Fable could have been the answer to MS problems of not getting more FF, Tales of and losing the Elderscrolls exclusivity.

@sdecker425: I really doubt you'll see Jet Set Radio as an MS exclusive - that's not an OG Xbox IP, but Sega property that got an Xbox sequel from the original on Dreamcast. IMO, Sega is not in a place now where they would develop a classic DC name like that exclusively for XBox.

@sdecker425: Hmm if you listing is true then I'm all for it especially the Steam app that would fix a lot of the Indie games that are currently PS4 exclusive that i'm interested in like Transistor.
