Xbox Free Games With Gold Revealed for July

Microsoft has announced that Games With Gold will now include two new Xbox One games every month starting in July, and revealed the latest crop of new titles.

Xbox Games With Gold program has steadily gotten better since it began, and July's offerings are pretty great. Among the new titles are Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag for Xbox One and Gears of War 3 for Xbox 360.

If you are an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you can pick up the following games for free during the upcoming month:

• Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox One) -- All month
• So Many Me (Xbox One) -- July 16 through August 15
• Plants vs. Zombies (Xbox 360) -- July 1 through July 15
• Gears of War 3 (Xbox 360) -- July 16 through July 31

Considering the recently announced Xbox One backwards compatibility for 360 games, it's a good idea to pick up the 360 offerings this month. Even though these specific games aren't playable yet on the Xbox One, Microsoft is planning to roll out greater support as the service becomes more widely available this fall.
