Xbox Games Showcase Announced For June 8, Here's What To Expect
The next big Xbox summer showcase is coming soon.
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, and it's coming on June 8, promising details on upcoming Xbox games. There will be another event, The Outer Worlds 2 Direct, immediately following.
The Xbox Games Showcase promises details on upcoming first-party Xbox games, as well as "incredible new titles from our third-party partners across the globe." It takes place on Sunday, June 8, beginning at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK. The Outer Worlds 2 Direct will follow immediately after.
This format is in keeping with tradition for Microsoft, as the company held double-feature Xbox Games Showcase events in 2023 and 2024, with a main Xbox event followed by briefings for Starfield (2023) and Black Ops 6 (2024).
The Outer Worlds 2 Direct promises to divulge "new gameplay, details, and developer insights" for the Xbox and PC RPG, which is expected to launch at some point in 2025.

The briefings will stream live in more than 4 languages, along with American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English Audio Descriptions. Here are some of the places you can watch:
The Xbox Games Showcase on June 8 will follow the Summer Game Fest show on June 6, where lots of announcements and reveals are planned. This is a busy time, as the Nintendo Switch 2 arrives on June 5. After the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8, there will be another event called The Game Business Live on Monday, June 9.
