Xbox Games With Gold: 2 Free Games Are Up For Grabs
Here are the four free games you'll be able to snag in November 2020 through Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate.
Xbox Live Gold members can snag four free games via Games with Gold in November 2020, and the first two freebies are available now. This month's Games with Gold lineup includes games across three generations of Xbox systems, and they'll remain in your library for as long as you're a subscriber.
Aragami: Shadow Edition is free for the entire month, and it's a native Xbox One game that usually costs $25. It's joined by Swimsanity from November 16 through December 16. On the original Xbox side, the tactical warfare game Full Spectrum Warrior is free now through November 15, at which point it will be replaced by Lego Indiana Jones for Xbox 360 until the end of November.
Full Spectrum Warrior is an underrated gem for the original Xbox, and it just might be the standout this month. The game blends real-time action and strategy for a military simulation that remains unique well over a decade after its launch.
As always, all of these games are playable on Xbox One. They'll also all be playable on Xbox Series X and Series S when the two systems release, as both of them support every non-Kinect game that was playable on Xbox One. You can read our Xbox Series X review now.
Xbox Games With Gold For November 2020
- Aragami: Shadow Edition: Available November 1 to 30 (Xbox One)
- Swimsanity!: Available November 16 to December 16 (Xbox One)
- Full Spectrum Warrior: Available November 1 through November 15 (Xbox)
- Lego Indiana Jones: Available November 16 to November 30 (Xbox 360)
However, this month's Games with Gold lineup does look a little less impressive than what Sony is offering PS Plus members in November. Bugsnax will be free at launch on that platform, and the PlayStation Plus Collection will let PS5 players experience some of the best PS4 games right out of the gate. Because the PS5 doesn't arrive until November 12, only some of the PS Plus games will be available when the store updates on November 3.
Likely because of the low number of PS5 games that will be available out of the gate, Bugsnax will be free for two months, and Destruction AllStars will also be free for two months in 2021. The latter was originally going to be a $70 launch title. It was instead delayed to allow for the change.
