Xbox 360-Inspired Adidas Shoes Go On Sale Thursday For $160
The Xbox 360 Forum Mid shoe launches this week.
Microsoft and Adidas are working together on new shoes to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Xbox, and now the latest pair have been revealed. The Xbox 360 Forum Mid is a new Xbox shoe that goes on sale this week in the US and Canada.
The $160 shoes feature a number of throwbacks to the Xbox 360 console, including its color scheme--white, silver, and green--and the Xbox 360 logo, of course. The strap of the shoe is meant to represent the Xbox 360 disc tray, while the system's air vents are represented, too. The heel of the shoe takes inspiration from the removable hard drive and memory slots.
These shoes go on sale in the US and Canada on November 4 starting at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET through Adidas.com. There are four options to choose from, though the only differences are the lace colors: red, yellow, green, and blue.
The first pair of Xbox/Adidas shoes were revealed in October, but they aren't being sold to the public. Looking ahead, Microsoft said its November 15 Xbox 20th anniversary event will feature a third and final Adidas sneaker that is inspired by the Xbox Series X. This shoe will be available to buy around the world, though the specifics about its price and release date were not announced.
