Xbox One passes PS4 on Amazon chart

This gen I've been enjoying games on 360, PS3 and PC and I'm honestly baffled that so many people are preordering a console that is less powerful and more expensive based on small video clips of games. Overall I'm fairly underwhelmed by the launch titles on both sides so far and the only ones I want to play are not exclusives so my choice is a no brainer really. Microsoft have pushed me away with all the rubbish from the launch and their initial arrogance and inability to communicate about features, plus I have no interest in the kinect at all so why should I be forced to pay for one??! The only positive really is that competition will hopefully drive companies to invest in the publishers to create better games, so we are all benefiting from this. With a price drop and some great new (not a sequel/prequel) exclusives I may well get an xbox one in the future but right now MS have a lot of work to do to regain my trust. I'm not telling anyone what to do, just expressing an opinion

What the fanboys on both sides fail to see is that without each console competing against each other, the gamers wouldn't get a great selection of exclusives. Love or hate whichever side you want, but without each other, we would suffer the Madden Syndrome. FYI: that is when there is no competition and things become stale. An example is when Madden Football games got the exclusive NFL rights, they didn't really have to put out anything worthwhile. I will own both next gen consoles eventually but not because one is made by Sony or Microsoft. I purchase for the exclusives and both companies always have good exclusives.

Ps4 having unlimited preorder at Gamestop now they are doing so well. Amazon Ps4 still outselling Xbox with 5 SKUs in the top 10 and only one xbox Model. So good going for clawing back to a respectable level Xbox. Second place isnt so bad Xbox.

it isnt selling better. if you look at amazons list there is 1 xbox one (at first place) then the ps4 (at second) then the 4th and 5th spots are also ps4s with bundles, and about the 7th is another ps4 bundle.

Im a gamestop employee.As of yesterday ps4 had 435 preorders .The Xbox 1 had 350 in my store. But before xbox changed their policies it was 350 ps4 to 200 xbox 1s. the Xbox is selling better right now 150 to 85 since the policy change. Microsoft saw the ps4 was going to destroy them causing the change. Ps4 is still leading,but my guess it will be 50/50 when its all said and done.I dont bash either system il just buy both,both systems have great exclusives.i do prefer the ps4 however.

I think its a good thing that MS changed their policy's for those gamers without internet. but at the same time I think that move may do nothing more but hold the industry back for the future .I mean if the gamers of 2001 were as connected and discounted from the main picture as gamers are today we would all still be stuck with weaker dial-up and never made the big jump to broadband because their so scared of change.. and can only so whats infront of their eyes and with that fear only think of dooms day scenarios.. for always connected even know xbox 360 is always connected most of the time anyway

This article is completely inaccurate. If the Xbox One was actually selling more you would think that the Xbox controller would be selling more and would have passed the PS4 controller. However, the Dualshock 4 is at #8, and the Xbox One controller is at #11. They both come with one, so it doesn't add up. I guess Xbox players could have less friends, but that seems pretty odd.

Game sales are also a completely pointless statistic since all PS4 are being sold as a bundle now on Amazon. If you wanted to go by this the PS4 would have the 3 top selling games and the top selling controller, but somehow the Xbox One console is selling more. Let's all post articles without thinking. Sounds like a pretty good idea.

People seem to forget that both Microsoft and Sony are both giant corporations that are just trying to make as much money as possible. You have to be supremely naive if you actually believe that Sony "cares about us" and Microsoft doesn't. Microsoft's public relations handled the Xbox One about as poorly as a 15 year-old with no social skills. Meanwhile, Sony immediately capitalized on Microsoft's mistakes and they made it seem that they really cared what we all think. Newsflash: THEY DON'T CARE! The only reason they would want to make it appear AS IF they actually care is just so you can buy their products and increase their bottom dollar. They're both MEGA-corporations. With that being said, the Xbox One, contrary to what any of the Sony fanboys have been telling you Microsoft fanboys, isn't going anywhere. People are still going to buy it, and Microsoft will eventually fix the problems that are plaguing it, hardware-wise. You know why? Cause it's business. It's all just business, people. Just buy the console you want to buy, and play the games you want to play. We're all gamers, after all.

WOW!! This is cool and all but keep in mind in order for it to pass PS4 now mean that EVEN WITH ALL THE POLICIES WHEN THEY WERE IN PLACE, LOTS OF PEOPLE WERE RESERVING X1 NO MATTER WHAT. Im getting both consoles but way to go MS!!!!
