Xbox One version of Trials Fusion gets day-one patch that improves resolution to 900p

Wow it got a patch to make it still not Next-gen and still second rate to the PS4...how nice.

Great job on your "gaming" machine MS, your vision of the future is sorely lacking in quality which I guess goes hand in hand with the subpar Surface, subpar Windows phones and horribad Windows 8. Now that I think about it, is there product made by MS in the last 3 years that is NOT subpar?

Maybe that's their vision, a future of products worthy of the "made in China" label that's on them.

Around the world electrical appliances are getting power consumption limits, even vacuum cleaners.

They had to make these consoles use less power than last gen. You know, the crumbling environment and stuff....

1080P/60fps with 150 watts is kinda tough

I would play a subpar version of this game before ever installing UPlay on my PC again.

I'm just glad that the majority of the games I play on the ps4 are FULLHD because all the tvs in my house are 1080p

What must be so galling to Xbox users is the fact that even thou, this small res difference isnt much. It just points out the disparity between both machines, what will happan in year 3 when designers will get more out of a machnie. Oh and please dont say DX12 will save the day. Couple to that the disastrous launch and no real "must haves" .While the Xbox is not dead. It is heavily wounded and must do something amazing or it will be left behind.

I only know 2 people in the UK who went from 360 -1 and they are both 13. Everyone else has or is moving to PS4. When I now go round to see my mates kid who has a One, I have to nag a bit to play on Titanfall as he's bored and no longer plays it, if fact one of the 2 kids I know with the 1 is about ready to sell up and get a PS4

Every time I hear someone defending the xbox by being rude or nasty just makes me think of a battered spouse, hitting out at anyone who say they could do better and to leave and only ever say s"you don't know them like I do, you should see them while were alone"

They told use 1080p games LAST gen guess what it didnt happen then, was mostly 720p and most the time it was sub 720p scaled.

Now this gen comes and they say 1080p and still it not 1080p its 900p or 720p scaled yet again. False advertisment we should all sue!, joking aside.

I call BS this what happen when you put damn mobile cpu at 1.6ghz in console. if they actual used ACTUAL desktop CPU with actual power things would be 1080p. Spec on both consoles are great, but the mobile cpu they stuck in there was let down to me.

MY 4+ year PC runs my games 1080p @30 FPS all the time, and good chunk of the games can do 60 fps @ 1080p just fine.

I saw this game for PC it not exactly graphic power house either and it console cant even get 1080p.

Without the xbox brand trials would not be relevant. Show some respect.

You know I wonder when people are going to start saying a next gen console isn't running 4k K 120 fps ...PATHETIC. lol I mean there are so many stipulations its ridiculous like is a next gen console only next gen if all its games run 1080p 60fps. Or does is it next gen when 80% of games run 1080 60fps . It surely isn't next gen because its not running the highest possible res and frames. Fact is neither console is next gen so please stop acting like one is gods gift when it comes to graphics and frames

everyone talking about resolution, what about the order 1886 running at 800p with cinema boxes around it? but but but ps4 is superior hardware.

Its official! XBONE isn't powerful enough! This game has simple graphics and it couldn't be done in 1080. It needed a day one patch just for 900. All the XBOTs are crying like how the Nintendo fanboys use to say it was all about gameplay not graphics.

The truth is the 360 was very advance for 2005. The XBONE was old before it was even released in 2013. MS isn't what it use to be. The glory days are gone. Just accept it. lol

Just for reference, VHS Tapes had between 230-300 lines of resolution. DVD's had 480 lines. VHS at it's best was 180 lines less than DVD and people swore DVD was superior, that's at 180 lines of resolution and it was a significant difference. Now take DVD at 480 and add another 600 lines for real HD at 1080p. Now imagine what 100 lines or more of lost resolution can make in a video image. It's significant when displayed on a properly calibrated big screen. Display sizes are significantly larger and more detailed than they were in the VHS/DVD era so lost resolution is even more apparent than it use to be.

if the Xbox One can't run a game as simple as Trials Fusion, then there's no hope for the Microsoft console...
