Plus, Capcom confirms a physical edition is in the works, but won't be released until 2016.
The Mega Man Legacy Collection, a bundle that includes "faithful reproductions" of the original six Mega Man games, is coming soon. Capcom announced today that the $15 game will launch on August 25 through digital channels for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The digital 3DS edition will launch in early 2016.
The game was originally announced as a digital-only title, but Capcom has now decided to launch physical versions for all platforms.
They will launch in early 2016, but will cost $30. Capcom did not say what extra content they might have to justify the doubled price tag, but more details will be shared later.
Mega Man Legacy Collection comes with a new challenge mode and a collection of images, concept art, and other assets from the iconic franchise's history. Also included are Full, Wide, and Original viewing options and online leaderboards with video replays.
