I was talking to someone the other day, who was saying VR for Sony is expensive and glitchy (I haven't verified myself). At any rate VR sounds about as appealing as Kinect...not something I have any desire to want to use. You get into VR feels like it takes away from the gaming experience. I'm actually glad Xbox isn't going that route...

@glaciusts: I think we'll see a difference without looking hard enough. Also, in a year or two, the level of immersion in new titles will be unmatched in new gen exclusive games. So, technically it is a diminishing return in graphics, but isn't on a whole other very important level.

@wtf_666: ya bcuz a brick and mortar store is completely useless for microsoft whos software and products are sold worldwide in most big box stores and online. so a store of their own was a giant waste of funds and time. also they are keeping FOUR stores open and calling them experience centers. no products will be sold at them.

@Terrorantula: Well, Gamepass kind of makes up for it, especially if you have an xbox one x because a lot of 3rd party games look and play best on that console.

@Terrorantula: Same here. I'm not into Forza or Gears. Last game I played was Halo 5. But I'm hoping they bring more exclusives thsi time around because the 360 era was great (minus the red ring of course).

@Terrorantula: how many ps really has? god of war, last of us, zero dawn and spiderman. others have jumped to pc as well or have a direct counterpoint like gran turismo

great games but 5-10 games is easily interchangeable. i can play battlefront 2 the time that i would have played tlou2 and not notice a difference.

there is the term fear of missing out but there should also be a term of interchangeability. ofc im a bit out of the loop since after 2012 i havent bought more than 2 games per year so im not drooling for every new game

if xbox can offer 5-10 games worth buying per year exclusives or not, has an acceptable price and is more convenient than the modern almost-pcs then they are in a good place. if they allow me to now and then put in one of the old gen games and me to get rid of my old machines then its just day 1 buy

big issue i think is with microtransactions. nintendo and sony havent been pretty good about it with their own games. halo and forza has monetization on par with bf and bf so theres rarely pure oldschool games. that why i want to be able to put in something like dmc hd collection or human revolution. just a clean a to b run without grinding supposed to support microtransactions

@GalvatronType_R: Disagree! They showed a PEEK of SOME of the games as they said they would. They showed many games with actual GAMEPLAY! Sony's reveal also had games that were just game trailers, like Spiderman, but nobody was beeitchin! It's all the Pony's who were in an uproar over nothing really.

Sorry I was not that impressed by Sony's reveal! I only want Ratchet & Clank & maybe Horizon based on gameplay to be seen in the future! Now if Sony did a new Killzone & Resistance with improved controls and with campaign, local & online co-op then oh hell yea I am in!

Meanwhile on XB so far I want : Bright Memory Infinite, Second Extinction, Halo, & warming up to Hellblade 2 now!

@GalvatronType_R: Which I'm sure they'd love to do, but if what you're marketing is how games feel, it's nigh on impossible to get that across a computer screen. That said, the PS5 reveal even was only better in the respect that Sony showed what seemed to be actual gameplay and most demos were a couple of minutes long instead of in-engine like MS with its reveal event and under minute long demos. I liked both presentations and am getting both consoles day 1. Lucky me.
