Xbox Ultimate Game Sale Starting This Week, More Than 300 Games Discounted

Discounts as deep as 75 percent off if you're a Gold member.

Not to be outdone by Sony's huge PSN sale, Microsoft today announced the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2017. The big-time sale kicks off on June 30, and there will be more than 300 games discounted. A teaser video for the promotion shows Rainbow Six Siege, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Rocket League, For Honor, Battlefield 1, and Ghost Recon: Wildlands, among others.

Games are discounted by as much as 65 percent, while Xbox Live Gold members can save up to 10 percent more. The full list of titles and prices hasn't been announced yet, but that should happen soon, given the sale is starting this week. The promotion wraps up on July 10.

In other Xbox Live news, Microsoft has announced the full Games With Gold free games lineup for July 2017, which includes Grow Up and Kane & Lynch 2. Additionally, Microsoft has revealed seven more games coming to the Xbox Game Pass library in July--here's a rundown.

I love these sales......its a burst of adrenaline that first time scrolling thru the list to see if there is anything you really want.

Generally, Sony's sales are better than Microsoft's, but with a sale this big.....there should be something for everyone.

Between the Steam and Sony sales, if Microsoft has any decent offers this could be dangerous for my wallet. Microsoft's last sale wasn't great, but I picked up a few games. However, there are still a few dozen 360 games I'd like to grab on the cheap (i.e. $5 or less), so here's hoping.

Can't wait for this sale, I recently updated my internet and have adsl 2 equivalent speeds and more data. Will definitely be getting some more games. Really hope Titanfall 2 is on sale coz I'll buy that in a second. It's been said that it'll run on the XBOX at native 4K 60FPS and in some parts it renders at even 6K then downsamples. Colour me impressed. ?Can't wait for this monster of a console.?✌️

good for xbox gamers, i bought 7 games on psn last night....total was 110 dollars, discount 94 lol id call that a sale...ill have to look through the xbox marketplace for my nephew maybe ill find deals like that

@Marky360: shadow of mordor was 3 bucks for the GOTY, scooped that up... mad max was 7.99 i think and murdered soul suspect is 5 dollars and sniper elite 4 is half off, theres a bunch more if youre truly interested those are just some i bought

Ok cool. I already have Shadow of Mordor on the PS3 and I have Mad Max on Xbox via Xbox Game Pass and Murdered Soul Suspect on Xbox via Games with Gold. Sniper Elite 4 sounds cool though.

It's the only one I needed lol. I'm a huge Microsoft fan boy and have no issue admitting that but have you looked at the past couple of sales they've had? It's mostly been the same games at the same prices. Guess they didn't get enough people checking it out the first time so they threw them out for a second time and quite possibly a third.

@PSYCHOV3N0M: Really? Sounds nearly as bad as the last mission on Halo2/3 those flood chases up the tower were way too much, it took me weeks to finish that bs.. I kinda hate Legendary difficulty, it's like playing Dark Souls in a shooter lmao

@biggamerdude: I do need to go through 1-5 on Legendary tbf, its gonna take me so long without that splitscreen spawn system aha, they class it as cheating now and removes the achievement :( gonna take me months to get through it all, haha, need to find the Skulls on 5 too, so-so much effort :( I hated the Library on Normal let alone anything higher, hahaha

@sephirothswing: Haha, yeah, although, while I havent played halo 5 yet, even though I have got it in my library, I've heard its easy even on legendary. I'm okay with heroic on all the halo games, though.
