Xpand Rally announced

Polish game developer Techland has announced Xpand Rally, its upcoming rally racing game. The game is based on an extreme version of WRC racing in which there is no limitation on a vehicle's horsepower or modifications. The game will have a variety of upgrade options to let players customize their vehicles.

Xpand Rally is powered by the latest version of the company's proprietary Chrome engine, and it will include more than 36 tracks and more than 20 vehicles based on popular racing cars. In addition, the game will have several environmental effects, including sunshine, rain, snow, and nighttime.

No North American publisher or release date for the game has been announced. We'll post more information about Xpand Rally as it becomes available.
