Yummy Will Power Online Game Rentals
The consumer application service provider signs distribution agreements with top publishers.
Yummy Interactive has announced that it has signed distribution agreements with several top publishers: Infogrames, Activision, Eidos, and Ripcord. The agreements will allow Yummy to offer a number of games for online rental during the service's upcoming beta testing. After the current closed internal beta test is complete, the company will conduct a public beta, which will include Eidos' Tomb Raider: The Lost Artifact, Ripcord Games' Spec Ops II, Activision's Battlezone II, and Infogrames' Beach Head 2000. All the games included in the agreements will be available free of charge during the public beta. Users of the final retail version of the service will be able to access an extensive library of games online either on a pay-per-use basis or through a subscription.
