Much like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate , Monster Hunter Generations will offer free DLC that includes costumes based on characters from other games. Among those you can expect to see is Link.
As seen in the video above, you can dress up your Palico to look like Link from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker . It looks as if it has the Master Sword and Hylian Shield strapped to its back, though they don't appear to be usable. We do, however, see the Palico bust out a Link-esque spin attack at one point.

There's no word on when the Link DLC will be released, but we do know it will be free.
Among the other DLC confirmed for the game so far are those based on Fire Emblem , Mega Man , Okami , and Strider .
Generations launches for 3DS on July 15. A free demo is out now on the eShop.
