Zumba Fitness World Party coming to Xbox One
Latest in multi-million-selling fitness series launching on Xbox 360, Wii U, and Wii this October, with Xbox One launch to follow.
Majesco today announced the latest installment in its multi-million-selling Zumba Fitness series. Zumba Fitness World Party will launch in October for Xbox 360, Wii U, and Wii, with a release "later this year" for Xbox One. No mention was made of a release for PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4. 
Zumba Fitness World Party takes players across the world to seven "exotic" destinations where they will take part in the music-inspired workout system. The first confirmed location is Brazil.
The game features 40 new songs, including music from high-profile artists like Lady Gaga, Pitbull, and Daddy Yankee, as well as "eclectic tracks" from regional musicians. Zumba Fitness World Party also boasts more than 30 cultural dance styles, including new additions like Blues, Capoeira, and Girly Funk.
As part of a special promotion, Majesco will release a new trailer for Zumba Fitness World Party every month revealing the next in-game location. Gamers can collect codes associated with teach destination and trade in their "Passport to Party" at launch for an unspecified discount on the game.
The most recent Zumba Fitness game from Majesco was Zumba Fitness Core, which launched last year on Xbox 360 and Wii. The entire franchise, which launched in 2010, has sold more than 6 million copies to date.
On top of Zumba Fitness World Party, Majesco also announced Zumba Dance today, a motion-based fitness game for tablets. The application, which tracks calorie burn, is expected to launch this summer.
"The World Party game has always been a dream for us," said Zumba Fitness CMO Jeffrey Perlman in a statement. "Zumba blurs the lines between fitness, entertainment and culture. As such, we wanted to create a game that explored different dance cultures from around the world. World Party unites the player with the global community of dance through an interactive experience that delivers both physical and emotional benefits."
