Assassin's Creed is maybe the third game I picked up and played through on my ps3. I did so based solely off my friend undying love and praise for this now I rented it and I would suggest that unless you find a decent bargain deal now you rent it first. Not say it's not a good game but at close to full price there are other games that maybe for sure buys this one is hit and miss with people. I did enjoy the game it's a good eight hour play through. . The story to me was a bit confusing as at first I felt a bit lost as to what was going on and it seems they never really give you much explanation and the ending doesn't wrap much up just adds fuel to the fire of confusion. Combat was good but it wasn't with out faults to me. It seemed that the hit detection was a little off and there are a few glitches here and there but I would expect that with a game that has such huge environment there are tons of town folk so it's not just a big empty city. Assassinating people is just a great experience . Now the one major problem with this game is that it gets a bit boring its mission are really all the same and not at all exciting when you got these amazing cities and your running around it doing the same like 3 missions. So the final word to me is that it is a great game that lacks variety but it is worth playing and would be a loss to you if you at least didn't give it a rental. It also would be good for those interested in the new Assassin's creed, especially if the new one is as confusing as this one.
