User Rating: 9.5 | Assassin's Creed PS3
Summary: 9.5 Excellent! The game is about a man named Desmund Miles, an average bartender who is living life, when one day he gets abducted by a company names Abstergo. You see, they let him know why they need him. They made a breakthrough in science, because it turns out humans not only carry memories of their life, but genetic memories of their ancestors, and as it turns out Desmund's ancestor is an assassin named Altair, way back in the 12th century. When the third crusade was tearing the holy land apart. The scientists that captured him, Warren Vidic, and Lucy his assistant need to see a certain genetic memory that Desmund carries with him, so Desmund must build up by seeing other ones in order to see the one they need. In order to do that he sits in a device called the Animus, which assists him in this. He then sees his ancestor Altair doing what he does best. Well that's the easy summary of the game. Now to dissect it!

Graphics: 9.5 Woo! The graphics in this game are stunning. The frame rate amazing, and the texture and detail of the cities are astounding. As an assassin you can climb up buildings, run on rooftops, and take a birds eye view of the cities you explore, and assassinate in. It's all done beautifully as you never truly believe that it was designed so you could do that, it's just a small coincidence. The cities are beautifully put together, you find yourself re-exploring numerous locations, just to ooh and awe at the buildings. Needless to say I gave this rating a 9.5 because of the beautiful cities, lovely characters, and wondrous design.

Gameplay: 9.0 Very good! The gameplay is extremely fun. You find yourself enjoy re-playing the story to find every little way to Assassinate your targets. I have to say it is a lot of fun to gather intel on your target. You can do this in multiple ways including: sitting on a park bench eavesdropping, pickpocketing delivery-boys, beating the information out of cowardly citizens, and helping out a fellow assassin. After a while you will find it getting a tad repetitive, but it's still always a fun way to carry things out. As for the combat. You're an assassin, which means stealth is your best friend! You have a hidden blade that can help you assassinate quitley, and stealthily, however don't worry, should you get into a fight you can always count on your trusty sword, or short blade. Or a few merchant stalls lying around. The combat also gets a tad repetitive, but is still always a blast! I gave the gameplay a 9.0 because of the repetitive feel you might experience. However don't let that scare you off, it's still worth it!

Story: 10 Outstanding!! The story of this game is so complex, and diverse, and open to translation that you can't help but be awed by it. It starts out in a science lab where a doctor is experimenting on an average, kidnapped, bartender, whose ancestor's holds some dark secrets. There is a certain memory that the scientists need to see, in order to stop the world from being taken over by Templars, so a machine called the Animus lets them see these genetic memories, and you build up your will to be able to see them, by seeing smaller ones. And eventually the big prize will be seen. Guess you'll have to play the game to see how it all turns out.

Overall: 9.5 Woo! An amazing game that should be played immediately, it's amazing, in every aspect. Enjoy.
