Assassins Creed is really fun but can get repetitive.

Assassins Creed is a very fun game! The combat is perfect. You can do everything you ever would want in a sword fighting game. Then there is the running and traveling. In Assassins Creed you can run on the roof tops and climb buildings. This mechanic works really well. There are also the moments when you climb up the tallest buildings and trigger these views where it circles you and you get a view of the city you are in. And the Cities are magnificent! There are 3 cities which you can travel as well as the village/castle where the assassins are based. These locales are plain gorgeous they are an unbelievable sight to look at especially considering that this game was made in 2007. The one problem I have with this game is the repetition. The premise of this game is you are an assassin that has to reprove his loyalty. *spoiler* You have to go and kill 9 people in the 3 different cities in order to reprove your loyalty. This gets repetitive. When you are sent to kill these men you have to ride a horse or walk to the city. Then you have to several little missions like talking to an informant or following somebody for a bit and then "beat" the information out of them. Then you find the person kill them and then you go back to your village and then you tell the leader that you have killed the person and he gives your next target. That there is basically Assassins Creed. Of course there are several other things you can do. You can help citizens from guards, you can wander the cities and look for flags and kill the guards in the cities.*spoiler* This Assassin is not real though they are just memories of Desmoind who has been captured by the Templars in order to help them find something using his ancestors memories which are locked away in his brain. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who likes action and adventure or just to anybody looking for a fun experience.
