Now i am a huge fan of the assassins creed series, the games are simply amazing but this game is a little of the shortbus side. If your expecting the same huge vast wide open booming cities it's console counterparts have you WILL and i asure you will be dissapointed. if you expect a watered down AC then you will feel comfort in this game. id say gamespot was being a little mean in their review as they were viewing from the standpoint that it had to be the console version. Wake up gamespot reviewers it's not a next gen console i mean sure the psp has games that are well over the fun of the big guns like even the soul calibur port had better visuals then 360 or ps3 minus the fact menus were boring, but really assassins creed bloodlines offers you an experience that isnt quite as bad as a funsize candy compared to a king but more or less half the candy bar. if you are a fan of the AC series you will have fun i promise. i got this game about 6AM the day it came out on my psp GO before a long 4 hour trip to vegas. no i did not beat it on the way but i was however glued to my console the whole ride and also played about an hour before bed all 3 night nights we spent there and a mixed hour of waiting in lines etc. and then the whole 4 hours back. yes thats a total of 12 or so hours. mind you that this was 100% as in i beat the "Game" in about 8 and had 4 hours of messing around and collecting all the coins and side quests. the things i missed the most were one the place felt quite empty. this is forgivable as the engine for the random spawning npc's of AC on the consoles took roughly 1 year and about a 1/2 gig of space on our game discs to achieve such interactive bodies and quite frankly it's easy to see why this feature was absent. there is no lag in the game unlike the gta stories which do contain random spawn on the psp. another downfall was the cities are no divided into districts. you cant leap roof to roof from the landing dock to the market port you must land on ground go through the gate then begin your freerunning. A nice feature was after you beat the game and link to your ps3 while synched with AC2 you recieve 5 weapons as well as florins for all of the templar coins.I'd go on ahead and say this game is not worth a full $40 but rather $25 maybe $30. overall i feel anyone would enjoy this game and that for now the price is to high.
