With a better story and addictive multiplayer AC:Brotherhood is the best Assassin's Creed yet.
Ok,first the story.The story of AC:Brotherhood picks up exactly from the AC2 story.You are the charismatic,fearless assassin Ezio Auditore Da Firenze.The battle between the templars and the assassins have reached their boiling point.So it is up to Ezio to finish the war by recovering the piece of eden.I do not agree with GameSpot that the main plot is disappointing.I found the story rich and engrossing.But the ending may leave some confused and even frustrated.But believe me the overall story is superb and should take you about 15 to 20 hours to complete.But there are also meaty side missions and new hidden tombs called Lairs of Romulus to help lengthen the time.
Now lets go to gameplay.The gameplay had the most improvement.The action is more intense and fun.Unlike AC2 the enemy AI are quite smart.They wont attack you one at a time like before.They are also more aggressive and tough but veterans should have no problems dispatching them as there has been a tweak in the gameplay.They are call executions.All you have to do is while killing one enemy you move and hold the left stick towards another enemy and press square.This results in a bad-ass kill and continue your kill streak.Also you can now recruit assassins to your guild.They are alot of help in sticky situations.
The multiplayer here is pretty good.You are assigned to kill some one to increase your score and the more stylish the kill the better the score.But someone may also be assigned to kill you.Its an addictive cat and mouse multiplayer.
Now the bad.There are texture pop ins and screen tearing and the frame rate hiccups during long fights.
But this can be overlooked the sheer size and fun of the game.It truly is a gem.I recommend this game to anyone who veterans and new players alike.This is a one of a kind game.
