The campaign is a sweeping, if somewhat flawed, epic....but still the best yet in the series.
The game combat is basically the same as it was in AC 2 but that doesn't mean it isn't satisfying considering the vast array of weapons you can carry along the game, the game really take the weaponry to new levels making for exciting new ways of playing the game (Hell you can even use a broom).
Brotherhood allows you to hire and train your own Assassins Guild; just don't expect to be running your own assassins until you're at least 6 hours into the game.
By that upon a press of a button you can eliminate a target using your friends or send them out on assassination missions, I felt that the whole purpose was lost as I felt like more of the manager than the player although after getting into leveling up your apprentices it gets addictive.
The multiplayer is perhaps one of the greatest surprises this game has, unfortunately, it's flawed by one single gametype where people run around trying to kill each other swiftly and silently. There are a number of gametypes that would seem intuitive to produce for this game: Free Running races, Horse Races, Combat, Team Deathmatch. But these are nowhere to be found. It will be interesting to see if these concepts are further developed and provided as DLC later.
The only shame is that Italy has slightly lost its novelty. I would have loved to have seen a new world fit with a new leading assassin, and a complete engine overhaul.
All in all, an amazing game that I didn't give a 10 because I don't believe that there is any game out there that deserves a 10, but this is truly the Assassins Creed I was expecting to play and love.
