Fun, but annoying as HELL.

Well. Assassin's Creed. What a wonderful series I must say, The first one needed a lot of work, the second one was beautiful. As for Brotherhood? It's a beautiful installment that should not be overlooked.

First off I'd like to talk a little about the story. I personally found it quite entertaining when thinking of story-line itself, but the thing is; I could hardly get around such TERRIBLE platform controls. I literally had moments in this game where I wanted to throw myself at the screen and rip the disk from my system.
Some of the controls were just so bad it hurt the experience for me, honestly. On a less serious note, WHY the HELL were the wanted posters so high up on buildings? At first I was looking for one and I was RIGHT over it, but of course, I was looking on ground level, you know, where people could SEE the walls. But NO. Actually, the poster was on the level ABOVE me, where no people could possibly even see. I know that I'm probably stupid and everyone had no problem with this, but I literally sat and looked for that damn poster for an hour. Other than that I had a lot of fun with it and might even take the time to go back and get the things I missed, Improving my sync percent. MAYBE.

Now, for the real fun to start. I'm not going to lie. The sole purpose of my buying this game was the multiplayer. I saw it revealed in many videos but was not lucky enough to get the beta myself. When I turned this game I immediately hit MULTIPLAYER and got ready to play. I was really annoyed when I realized the matchmaking system is utterly TERRIBLE. However, when I actually got into a game 20 minutes later, I was blown away.

Some Positive Points About MULTIPLAYER
-Easy to pick up.
-You don't have to play any certain way, really.
-It's fresh and exciting and the kills are actually quite entertaining.
-It's a lot of fun, and I, myself, never really get tired of it.

Some Negatives
-The matchmaking is really terrible... Takes forever to start a match, especially when trying to play with a friend or two
-The leveling system is FAR too simplistic in the terms of points required. It literally took me TWO DAYS to get all the way to the max. level of 50
-Your ability set REALLY affects how well you play against other players. (e.g. If you have the hidden gun and another higher level booster, It really won't be that hard to take out someone who's only defense is smoke bomb
- There are some minor bugs, which is to be expected even in the best of games, but these are annoying as hell.

So, this game isn't flawless by any means, but how close can we really be to flawless today, anyway? I recommend this game for sure, and I'm sure if you're a fan of a good multiplayer game that can hold interest for some time, you'll enjoy this title quite a bit. Not saying the story mode isn't worth playing.
