Ubisoft has put the sword in the pedestal with this one!

Once again your Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. And he is better than ever! Lets do a quick run down. The story is great with a couple kinks, the soundtrack is very unique and beautiful, the graphics are a huge difference from it's predecessor, the gameplay is much more faster and accelerating. I never really bothered with Brotherhood, because I thought the series was getting a little repetitive. But I was like why not give this a try. And so I did, it was the best gaming decision I have made in a long time. Lets keep to the story real quick. After the war Ezio goes back home (the villa) to relax but when the Borgia attacks your back up and ready to fight. You fend of the Borgia long enough for the citizens to leave. You go back to Rome to look for the apple because the Borgia took it from Ezio. You find that Rome has been taken over by Cesare Borgia. And its basically a dictatorship. You must find people and recruit them to start a revolution in Rome against Borgia. That's where the game starts. I liked the concept, because I'm a huge history buff. But some of the side missions and the main missions are a little rushed. But all and all the story is well done.

Lets move onto the gameplay. The free run is still a whole lot of fun, and the combat is way more smoother than AC 2. The stores in Rome are taken over by the Borgia so you have to free the stores by destroying Borgia towers which is a great thing to do. After you destroy a tower it unlocks shops around the tower. You buy the shops out and you start getting an income. This idea was amazing and sucked a lot of hours away. There is much to do, collect Borgia flags, get feathers, treasures and find Secret Lairs of Romulus. So as you can see there is much hours packed on. There's a lot of glitches, sometimes a character would get stuck into the ground and it's irritating when I'm trying to jump somewhere and Ezio goes to a completely different place. One of my favorite things about this game was the brotherhood, you recruit them and you can level them up by sending them to other places like Florence, Cologne and other historical foundations. One thing I didn't like about the brotherhood is that they are helpful and all but their really not part of the main story. You can only be in Rome in this one, no where else and this may sound like a downer to a lot of people but fear not there is a lot of things to do and it is vast and beautiful, speaking of lets talk about the graphics.

Like I said there are a few glitches here and there. But the graphics are just plain wonderful. It's definitely an eye candy game. Much better than the second one. Now lets talk about the soundtrack. Ubisoft took a different route with the music, it's more fantasy. And it's wonderful. That's where they got the saying "It's like music to my ears". Well this game was amazing and it took me around 40 hours to complete it. I hope you guys enjoyed as much as I did.
